How to connect to Catacloud

This guide shows how to connect a company in Accountflow to Catacloud, so accounting data is synced automatically.

💡 To connect a company to Catacloud, you need admin or superadmin rights in Accountflow and a Catacloud user.

Step by step: Connect to Catacloud

1. Add the company in Accountflow

  • Go to Company under Setup & Admin in the menu on the left.

  • Click Add company.

  • Choose Add other systems from the dropdown menu.

2. Enter company information

  • Company name

  • Company comment (optional internal note)

  • Organization number

  • Period type (e.g., monthly reconciliation)

  • Start month for the financial year (if deviating)

  • Start date for reconciliation (controls start of data retrieval including A07 messages)

  • Responsible user (who will own the reconciliation)

  • VAT reporting frequency

  • Company groups (if applicable)

  • Tick any modules you wish to activate: Payroll, VAT, Assets

💡 Make sure the organization number you enter matches the company in Catacloud.

3. Select accounting system

  • Choose Catacloud as accounting system from the dropdown menu.

  • Click Save.

  • A popup window for authorisation with Catacloud will now open.

4. Log in to Catacloud

  • Log in with your Catacloud user in the window that opens.

5. Select company

  • Find the relevant company in the list shown.

  • Click on the company to proceed.

6. Allow data sharing

  • You will now be asked to approve the sharing of required data.

  • Click Allow to complete the authorization.

7. Manage the company in Accountflow

  • When authorization is completed, the popup window closes automatically.

  • The company is now active and ready to use in Accountflow.
