How to connect to Visma Business NXT

This guide shows how to connect Visma Business NXT to Accountflow using a client key.

Step by step: Set up the integration

1. Get Customer ID in Visma Business NXT

  • Find your customer ID in Visma Business NXT. You need it to complete the setup in Accountflow.

  • Note that you need system admin access to complete this and the following step.

2. Activate the integration

💡 This gives Accountflow access to accounting data from Visma Business NXT.

3. Enter Visma Customer ID (only the first time)

  • Go to Organization under Settings & Admin in the menu on the left.

  • Click the pencil icon in the Actions column for the relevant company.

  • Paste the Visma Customer ID into the field for Visma Business NXT integration.

  • If you have multiple IDs, enter them separated by commas – for example 12345,67890.

  • Click Submit to save.

💡 This step is only required the first time you set up the integration.

4. Add the company in Accountflow

  • Go to Company under Settings & Admin in the menu on the left.

  • Click + Add company.

  • Select Add Visma Business NXT from the dropdown menu.

5. Enter company information

  • Company name

  • Company comment (optional internal note)

  • Organization number

  • Period type (e.g., monthly reconciliation)

  • Start month for the financial year (if deviating)

  • Start date for reconciliation (controls start of data retrieval including A07 messages)

  • Responsible user (who will own the reconciliation)

  • VAT reporting frequency

  • Company groups (if applicable)

  • Tick any modules you wish to activate: Payroll, VAT, Assets

💡 If you cannot find the client in the dropdown, check that the server integration is correctly set up in Visma Business NXT.

6. Save the setup

  • When all required fields are filled in and the information looks correct, click Save to create the company as a new Visma Business NXT client.
