Step by step: Set up integration in Altinn
1. Log in to Altinn
Go to altinn.no and log in.
Click your name or company name in the top right and select the correct entity.
2. Go to advanced settings
Go to Profile.
Click Advanced settings at the bottom of the page.
3. Registrer computer system
Scroll down to Computer systems.
Enter a description and select Accountflow as the type of system.
Create a password and click Add.
4. Copy ID number
After registration, an ID number is shown.
Note both the ID number and password – you will need them in the next step.
Option A: Connect to the entire organization
1. Go to Organization in Accountflow
Go to Accountflow and select Organization under Settings & Admin in the menu on the left.
Click the pencil icon in the Actions column for the company at the top of the organization structure.
💡 For an accounting bureau, the top company in the structure will be the bureau.
2. Enter ID and password
Enter the Altinn Computer System ID and password.
Check Add Altinn integration to all clients in organization.
Click Submit.
Option B: Connect a single company
1. Go to Company in Accountflow
Go to Accountflow and select Company under Settings & Admin in the menu on the left.
Click the pencil icon in the Actions column for the company you want to connect to Altinn.
2. Enter ID and password
Enter the Altinn Computer System ID and password.
Click Save.
Optional: Set up alternative login
If you use a system user instead of personal login, this must be configured in Altinn.
1. Go to advanced settings in Altinn
Repeat step 1 and 2 in the guide Set up integration in Altinn in the beginning of the article.
2. Enter login information
In the Login information field, enter username, password, and mobile number.
Check Allow submissions from application or system with this username and password.
Click Save.
💡 Note: There is no logout function for Altinn via Accountflow. If you are logged into Altinn in several places, e.g. through another accounting system, you must log out of Altinn everywhere.
